"So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy" - Romans 9:16

We are a growing independent Baptist church in Ooltewah TN that loves to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth.  While we do believe that the Lord wants us to live holy lives, we do not believe that the Bible teaches legalism as a means of pleasing God.  Our righteousness can only come through Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross.  The Bible tells us in Galatians 3:3 that it is foolish to think that the work that the Spirit of God has begun in us at salvation can be perfected by our flesh.

We have Sunday School classes for men, women and youth, where we study the Bible to learn more about our Lord.

If you enjoy good, old-fashioned style of worship, we would love for you come and be our special guest.  You might decide to become a part of us and we would love to have you!
